Muriel Gerlach Obituary

Gerlach, Muriel E. (Nee Tillman) Age 92. Of Menomonee Falls. Passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at Zilber Hospice in Wauwatosa. She was born on Aug. 2, 1919, in Milwaukee. She married Ruben Gerlach on Sept. 26, 1940, in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on Jan. 20, 2000. Loving mother of Marjorie (Eric) Lowenthal, Joyce (Jerry) Droese and Michael (Kathy) Gerlach. Cherished grandmother of Dawn Hamann, Sherri (Brian) Gramoll, Cary (Sandy) Hamann, Craig Droese, Tracy Gerlach, Kelly (Eric) Witczak and Krystal Giese. Great-grandmother of Derrick and Tori Gramoll; Zoe and Duncan Tijade; Caitlin Droese; Evan, Lauren and Michael Witczak. Dear sister of Theresa Persifield, Catherine Diedrick, Nancy Deprey and Earl Tillman. She is preceded in death by her 4 sisters and 6 brothers. Further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation on Tuesday, September 13, at the FUNERAL HOME, from 11AM until time of Funeral Service at 1PM. Procession to Wisconsin Memorial Park to immediately follow the service. Special thanks to the staff of Zilber Family Hospice for the wonderful care given to our mother.
