Nancy Oser Obituary

Oser, Nancy W. (Nee Weller) Passed away peacefully on July 26, 2008 at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank C. Oser. Loving mother of David (Kim), Diane (Mitch) Wiersema, Steven (Diane), and Robert (Diane). Dear grandmother of Daniel, Katie, Alexander, and Emily. Dear sister of Joane (Glenn) Beardsley, the late Robert Weller, and sister-in-law to the late Lillian Moran. Further survived by her sister-in-law Ruth Weller and other family members. Nancy and Frank met while attending Syracuse University and married in 1947. In 1957, they settled in Thiensville where they raised their family. During the following 49 years, Nancy and Frank were inseparable, enjoying many activities together involving their church, community, and friends. Nancy and Frank loved to travel and attend plays, concerts, and movies. Nancy particularly enjoyed their Friday night fish fries and other dining excursions. Nancy worked for the Mequon-Thiensville School district for 20 years, retiring in 1993. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and all whose lives she touched. Visitation was held on July 28, 2008, at Schramka-Densow Funeral Home. A memorial service for Nancy will be scheduled in October at the Crossroads Presbyterian Church Memory Garden, Mequon, WI, where Nancy and Frank will be interred together. Memorial contributions, in Nancy's honor, may be sent to Crossroads Foundation, 6031 W. Chapel Rd., Mequon, WI 53092 (which will be used towards the columbarium) or to Gilda's Clubhouse of Southeastern Wisconsin (SEWI), a cancer support community, 4050 N.
