Merry, I am so sad for you for your loss of your brother. I wish I could have been at the funeral but was in Colorado. Please hang in there my friend. I will be talking with you soon. Give your Mom a hug for me too........

Pat was a really good guy, and a good friend of mine. He was firmly grounded in the present. He could make a hilarious joke out of the most mundane topics. He was a quick reader. The Beatles were his favorite group. I seldom saw Pat get upset about anything, he was a natural relaxer. It was typical of Pat and me to play pool and drink Coca-cola after school in junior high. Pat's swimming pool was always a cool dip in the summer. He loved his kids and enjoyed teasing and laughing with them as little girls. In his car he was the man about town. And he could really swing the racket on the tennis court. Above all, he knew the value of a good friend. He was truly too young to die. I'd have to say, "only the good die young".

Pat grew up in my neighborhood and was a very good friend of both my brothers, especially Chris. I am so sad to hear of his passing at such a young age. My sympathy to Pat's family. I will hold you all in the light.

My friend from days at Workforce Development, searching for jobs and hoping we could rekindle our careers. Wish we could have stayed in touch and worked together, but my responsibilities for my wife became too overwhelming. Patrick, you made so many Monday morning meetings worth while with your wit. May you find peace and happiness. God Bless you and your family. Rest in peace, my friend!!!
