Julie, I'm so sorry to have heard about Pete. I didn't know him well but I do remember what a great guy he was and how happy you both were together. May God give you strength during this extremely difficult time and may you find comfort with your family.

I will miss you Pete; I wish I had known. I will never forget you. You were at one time my cousin and good friend, and when we were young I never thought it would come to this; me saying goodbye to my younger cousin. Goodbye Pete. I loved you. Your family must be distraught. I cannot find the words to express how much I will miss you. I think that no one would have imagined they will never see you again. I am and will always think of you as you were when you were healthy. All the fun that we had as children, and going to college together. I did not know and the surprise was - as always when something like this happens - is that it was going to be your last days on earth. I do not find anything that I can say will make things better or make anyone feel better. I know how I feel. I will never be able to see my cousin Pete again for the rest of my life, and that is too sad to bare...

I am so sorry to hear of Pete's passing. I have so many wonderful memories of his hearty laugh and caustic sense of humor. He seemed to really know how to "live" the short time he had on this earth.
I am sure he is in a good place now. I will keep you and the rest of his loved ones left behind in my thoughts and prayers.

Pete was a great guy. As a golfer, a volleyball teammate, and just as a guy to hang out with, Pete was always fun and witty to be around. We will miss his easy-going and approachable personality. Our sincerest sympathies and hope for better days to his family in this difficult time.
