To the Anderson Family,
I just heard of Randy's passing and am so sad. Please accept my deepest sympathy in this very dark hour. Randy hired me at Harley and I only knew him for a very short time but I remember his humor and his great smile. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Anderson family,
I had the pleasure of knowing Randy as an assistant track coach in '78. It was my first year of teaching/coaching, and I remember Randy quite well. He was a member of the record-setting mile relay team and just a great guy to have on the team. My sincere condolences to his family.

Dear Anderson Family, I was a reader of Randy's blog and enjoyed drinks with him one evening at Hector's during a TosaNOW related gathering. You're in my thoughts. I hope you'll take comfort in the knowledge that he touched many lives, perhaps more than you'll ever know.

Katie and Ben,
I've never met either of you, but your Dad and I were umpires together in 'Tosa for the past few years. I always enjoyed working with him, as he had a good sense of humor but took the 'job' seriously as well.
I read his online blog regularly and will miss that, too.
Please take comfort knowing that he was a good guy that had a lot of friends.
Sincerely,
Mazzeo Family

Ben & Katie, I am so sorry to hear about your dad. We had a lot of laughs at Manpower, many years ago. Ben, my son attended a birthday party for you many years ago, I know you will miss your dad, but remember the good times! He had a great sense of humor and often his dry jokes made everyone laugh. I pray that the Lord lifts you during this time and carries you through. My family will be praying for yours.
