Raymond Sutter Obituary

Age 78. Born July 21st 1941 in Milwaukee, WI to Arnold and Marie (Jungen) Sutter. He passed away peacefully at home on January 11th 2020. He was a graduate of Messmer High School, class of '59 and married his sweetheart Katherine (Kuszewski) in November 1961. Ray worked at Harley-Davidson before aspiring to his job of service as a Firefighter. He was employed with the MFD for nearly 27 years.

Ray was a loving husband to his surviving wife Kay of 58 years. Devoted father to children Sharon (Michael) Mehring, Joseph (George) Sutter and Kristine (Terence) Sutter. Favorite Grandpa to Rebecca (Adam), Stephanie (Cameron) and Margaret, as well as, great-granddaughter Brooklyn. Ray is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Sadly, he was preceded in death by son Gregory, sisters Elaine (Dave), Marianne (Larry), brother-in-law Dan and nephew John.

A visitation and graveside memorial service will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery on Saturday, September 19th. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm with the graveside service to follow. The Cemetery & Mausoleum are located at 7301 W. Nash Street, Milwaukee.
