My sincere condolences. I come to this point at a very late period since Dick's passing. It's been a few years and since loosing my wife, Karen, a year and a half ago, I've come to understand the emotions associated with such an event. I hope time has eased the pain associated with the loss.
I hope Debra is well.
My recent, monthly drives past the funeral home where Dick's ceremony was held brought me to post this message.

Dick was introduced to me in the 1970s, when he was dating Debra. We all became instant friends as Dick and my future husband, Henry O, were partners in creativity, and shared an appreciation for soulful music, fast cars, stiff drinks, and fun times. We spent many nights clinking glasses at Hank's on Sixth, attended each other's weddings, and supported political and community-based events.
Dick was the most awesome photographer and advertising icon in Milwaukee's history during the 1980s and 1990s. Along with Baker Photography, Dick loved rebuilding Jaguars and taking his motorcycle on cross-country journeys - distinguishing a trait the amplifies a love for independence, open air adventures and connecting to the core of freedom that initiates creativity. Dick was also a soulful man, as he and his wife Debra, welcomed me into their home when great sadness struck my life.
To Dick's family and friends, I would like to say I am fortunate to have known Dick, and I celebrate his life. I have no doubt, he is with my husband, Henry O, who is also over the rainbow, singing as they often did at Hank's on Sixth, "Somewhere Beyond the Sea." I send my blessings and sympathy to all those who mourn Dick's passing.
