I was able to get to know Dick very well through our Fishermen weekly Bible Study at Hales Corners Lutheran. His encouragement, generosity, and honesty helped many men, including myself, through difficult times and his great faith strengthened ours. We also loved hearing his stories of the North Woods. I was so honored to know him and share time with him each week over many years. I know that his family and friends were very dear to him, and he prayed for them earnestly. I am thankful that he is now with Joan in the Lord's presence, but also know that he will be profoundly missed.

You were the most generous and caring person and we will miss you more than I can put into words. Our thoughts and prayer are with all of your friends and family through their time of mourning. May you rest in peace with Aunt Joan right by your side. All our love!
