Pihl, Richard A., Sr. Went home to be with his Savior on Sunday, September 12, 2010, age 74 years after a courageous battle with PSP. Beloved husband of Marlis (nee Lehmann) for 30 years. Dear father of Richard Pihl Jr., Beverly Pihl, Shari (John) Reifschneider, Mark and Matthew Glaze. Loving grandfather of Jason, Michael, Dallas, Spencer and Alexandria. Great-grandfather of Kaden. Fond brother of Jean Beck, Clarence Pihl, Dorothy Klump and the late Virginia Kotlewski. Brother-in-law of Karsten (Charlotte) Lehmann and Ingrid Haberl. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Visitation THURS., Sept. 16, 4-6PM at ST. LUCAS EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2605 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. Funeral Services 6PM. Interment and Military Honors MONDAY 11AM at Forest Home Cemetery Richard was a US Army veteran, a member of Teamster Local #344, and an active member of St. Lucas Church. Special thanks to the staff at Zilber Family Hospice for the care and compassion given. Memorials to St. Lucas Church appreciated. He was a very special man. I remenber how he would come into Kohls & always have a joke or something to make me laugh. I respected & admired him so much. He was such a Blessings to so many people in his life. God Bless !
