Richard M. Savignac

Savignac, Richard M. Age 71 years, of Wind Lake. Passed away December 5, 2006. Born on May 9, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI, the fifth and youngest son of the Late Norman J. and Frieda (Schenk) Savignac. Attended Wauwatosa High School in Wauwatosa, WI (Class of 1953), enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and came home from basic training to marry Judith Joann Cory of River Hills at the Church of Gesu in Milwaukee WI on November 26, 1954. After being honorably discharged from the USAF, Richard and his wife settled back in the Milwaukee area. Richard was employed as vice president of Marketing for J & R Engineering Co. of Mukwonago, WI. Richard is survived by his wife Judith of 52 years; seven loving children: Mark D. (Ann) Savignac of Winnetka, Ill, Cherie R. (Stephen) McNeel of Cincinnati, OH, Nanette (Daniel White) Savignac of Chicago, Il, Scott C. (Norene) Savignac of Muskego, Rene C. (William) Collins of Pewaukee, Suzanne (Thomas) Doolittle of Matthews, NC and Richard N. (Laura) Savignac of Waterford; one brother, Thomas A. (Jean) Savignac of Wauwatosa and thirteen precious grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Norman R., John and James Savignac. Richard's beloved dog, Bear, passed away just 2 days after Richard. A private Memorial Service will be held with inurnment at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove WI.
