Robert Darrington Obituary

Darrington, Robert Born in Mobile, Alabama, died on August 20, 2008, from natural causes. He had a long battle with diabetes, conjestive heart failure and renal failure. Robert worked for the Dept. of Corrections 30+ years in Adult and Womens Units. He was a youth counselor when he retired. Robert was a union leader and steward. He was a civil rights activist and fisherman. He will be sorely missed by his children and grandchildren, his loving wife Kathlene, and sister Deborah Darrington. Robert will be lying In State at the Northwest Funeral Chapel, 6630 W. Hampton on Wednesday, August 27, from 3-7 PM. His Funeral will take place at Greater Galilee BC at 2432 N. Teutonia on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery, 6401 N. 43 St. after the funeral service. Repass with be at the church. God Bless
