Robert V. "Bob" Donaj

Donaj, Robert V. "Bob" Age 71. Born to Eternal Life on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Beloved husband of Judith (nee Ostrenga) for over 32 years. Loving brother to Richard (Pauline) Donaj and twin brother to Kathleen (Jerome) Wicihowski. Dear brother-in-law of David (Elizabeth Knopke) Ostrenga and James Ostrenga, Sr. Further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He also leaves behind his special "companions" Heidi and Duchess "Duchie". Bob was preceded in death by his parents John and Genevieve (nee Krawczyk) Donaj, his in-laws Alvin and Sophie Ostrenga as well as by his uncle Reverend Arthur Krawczyk. Bob retired from Merchants and Manufacturers Bancorporation after more than 40 years of service. He served in numerous capacities: primarily mortgage and consumer lending, lending compliance and managerial positions. He was Senior Vice-President and Board of Director of Lincoln Community Bank, President and CEO of ACHIEVE Mortgage Corporation and Lending Compliance Officer for MMBC bank subsidiaries. He was proud to have been a member of the South Side Business Men's Association, Milwaukee Society Polish National Alliance and South Community Organization. He was much loved and well respected throughout his banking career. He will be sadly missed. The family sends special thanks to the MRICU staff at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center for their outstanding, kind and compassionate care throughout his illness. Visitation will be in St. ALPHONSUS CHURCH, (6060 W. Loomis Road, Greendale), on TUESDAY, May 27, 2014 from 9:30 to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM. Entombment will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery. For those wishing, memorials are appreciated to either the Parkinson's Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
