God bless Rob. It was a joy to have known him.

We just read Jeek's name in the MU magazine. Our most sincere condolences to Mickey and the family. Do you think he's up there somewhere chatting with his old friend Stan Jackson? Bob will be fondly remembered. Sincerely, Joy Kulkoski (Stan's sister).

I just saw the sad news in the MU magazine. It's funny to see others referring to him as Bobby, Rob or Robbie. In the dorm he was Jeek. In the cafeteria JEEK. On the campus JEEK. I was always glad to see Jeek walking towards me. He came to my graduation reception. He came to my wedding. We lost touch over the years. With work and families it happens, but I have thought of Jeek often over the years. I will continue to remember him. Here was a special guy. My sincerest sympathies to the Jicha family.

I just recently learned of Bobby J's passing and I was floored. Bobby was my friend from Marquette and later my roommate on the east side. He was someone who I really appreciated and he was always great to be around. When I moved away I lost track but always considered him a good friend.
Bobby was a special person and all who knew him were fortunate and lucky. He was such a genuine person. My condolences to Mickey and Rob and the entire Jicha family.

My condolences to the Jicha families. I was so sorry to hear about Rob's passing. I first met Robbie when he was about 7-8 years old when I came to Oconto for the first time. He was the cutest kid with those big dark eyes and an infectious smile even then. I saw him grow for several years than didn't see him until he was an adult living in Milwaukee.
Stopped in at the Real Chili place and had a nice visit. I believe he was married and had a baby by then but I never met his wife. He still had those beautiful dark eyes and infectious smile. Now it seems impossible that he is gone so young. May God hold all of you who loved him in his arms. To Rob God Speed.

Rob and I worked together at the downtown Real Chili in the early 1980s. We got along very well and he covered for me all too many times.
We in the Wells Street family were all so happy that Rob and Mickey married. It would be difficult to decide who was the nicer person.
Although I have not seen Rob or Mickey in many years I remember how much I enjoyed their company whenever we got together.
Rob's smile, spirit and genuine love for humanity will be sorely missed in a world that needs more people like him.
My deepest sympathies to Mickey and the Helfer and Jicha families on Rob's passing.

Dear Rob,
Only now do you truly understand how much everybody loved you, and you are free to experience only happiness.
Lisa told me how you two once met in church, and you engaged her in the most touching conversation. Well, I now know that-that was no coincidence!
I want to thank you for touching her heart that day, and for meeting her once again, as it fills my heart with your bright, smiling face and bubbling personality making her grin from ear to ear.
I find comfort in knowing that you are with her.
I will forever hold you in my heart.
Love,
Deb

I just learned of Robbies passing. I am so sad to hear of your loss. I remember spending time at the Jicha farm when I was maybe 9 or 10 years old. Robbie was older and the cutest boy I had ever seen. I think he knew I had a little girl crush on him. He would intentionally talk to me, knowing I would turn red, become speechless, and watch me, as I waited for the earth to open up and swallow me now! Robbie was always smiling and always kind. May God hold each and everyone of you in His mighty hands, and comfort you, as you go through this time of great loss.
