Dear Ann, Ethan, and Hannah,
I have known Bob, your husband and father for almost 18 years here at GE. He and I worked side by side for some time and knew and shared many of the same friends.
Bob was never one to be showy, or boisterous, but he knew how to enjoy life. When the news came of the cancer, we all got behind you and cheered, laughed and cried together. Bob fought it to the end and for that, he has gained our admiration. I know he has left behind MANY memories that will fill your years with thoughts that will touch you over time.
Take heart that the hurt will soften over time. Know this, that Bob's faith in Christ has carried him to Heaven. You, with that same faith, can see him again.
We have all been praying and will continue to pray that God would touch you in a very special way for Bob's sake!

Ann,
My heart goes out to you and your family. I know the next fews days and months will be difficult but God will get you through this. Bob will be missed. I feel blessed to have known Bob for the short period that I did.

We met Bob briefly last summer during a Rockford tournament playing for the Wisconsin Wizards Basketball Team. He was such a kind man and extremely proud of his son Ethan and daughter Hannah Banana (as he referred to her). We were very sorry to hear of your loss. We will keep your family in our prayers during this difficult time.

Bob, we have known each other since before the 1st grade, your passing was a great shock and you will forever missed. The weekends at "the cottage" with your Mom & Dad and Uncle Karl & Fran were something I'll never forget. You were the brother I never had and your father the dad I never had, thank you and see you in Paradise (Rev. 2:7) (John 5:28,29)
