I still have a writing piece that Bobby wrote in my 5th grade writing class because it was so
creative and hilarious! I use his story as a teaching tool each year. His wit,intelligence, and hilarity definitely come through in his writing. In this personal narrative story, he describes himself as a handsome, intelligent, muscular, and fast blonde boy! I have such good memories of Bobby in my class! He was such an unforgettable boy to teach!

To the Matthias Family: I was Bobby's Spanish teacher in high school and I really appreciated his humor in my class. His projects made me laugh and he always had a great attitude. My prayers are with all of you.

To the Matthias family--
Bobby was a very kind soul and I am so very sad about his passing. There are some students who are really nice but he was more than that-- he truly empathized with others and you could feel that when you talked with Bobby. And he also had such a great sense of humor. I am very, very sorry for your loss.
