I guess this is really for Bobby, Mary, Barbara, and Tony to remember. Bobby and I were talking the other night and I remembered how he used to look forward to his week of getting the change. I can't count the number of times we made that trek on our bikes to Bayside to pick it up. I can see it like it was yesterday. We all miss you Bob, I sure had my share of laughs with you when you would come in for a chicken dinner at the restaurant.

I've known Bob for the past 14 years. Thru all the good times and bad, the Flower Man was there to help his friends when they needed his caring assistance. The kindness you showed to us made us feel special. 'Bobby' will be greatly missed, though those memories will live on forever. From all your friends on the East Side, from all the ladies you've spoiled, we will miss you Bob.

To the North family,
I am sorry for our loss. Bob and I have been friends for over 30 years and for the past 21 yrs. we have kept in touch by phone on a monthly basis. I will miss him alot. We have mutual friends and when ever I would vacation in Milwaukee we would get together and try to relive some of the good times we always had. Sometimes we would overdo it and we just knew that we were not as young as we were back then. I will miss his random calls at 3:00 am to tell me what a great party he just came from. Thanks alot!
I love ya man!

I only met Bobby about seven years ago soon after meeting my husband Randy. He was one of Randy's closest friends. And every time we visited Milwaukee we would get together. My prayers go out to all the family as they continue without him to share their lives.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

Tim,Pat,Nancy and families:
I'm very sorry to hear of Bob's passing.
We had many good times together before life took us in different directions where we didn't get to see much of each other.
Bob's friendship and your Mom and Dad's hospility always meant a lot to me.
God Bless you and your children.

Tony, Mary, Barbara and Bobby,

I am truly sorry for your loss. No words can replace the sorrow you are feeling at this time, however with each passing day a memory of your Father fills in the emptiness. No man can be judged by another, only by what he has left behind is he remembered. The four of you were his most valued treasure. Cherish the time you had spent with you Father, and let his spirit live through you and your loved ones. I spent most of late teens with the North family and feel like even though we drifted apart we all remain connected. This is just another way to remind us that family and true friends are what makes life worth living. Bob rest in peace!

Miss Me, But Let Me Go
Author Unknown.

When I come to the end of the road,
and the sun has set for me.
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room.
Why cry for a soul set free?
Miss me a little—but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that was once shared.
Miss me, but let me go.

For this is a journey we all must take,
and each must go alone.
It’s all a part of the master’s plan,
a step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
go to the friends we know.
Bear your sorrow in good deeds. Miss me,
but let me go.

My sympathy goes out to the family of Bob North. I know the kind of pain that is felt on losing a family member when I endured the loss of my father, brother and sister. His passing leaves a hole in your hearts that you can and will fill with all your wonderful memories of him and eventually that void will heal in time.

Bob was my friend and party comrade from the good old days of Riverside High School, class of 1960. Fun times were definitely on our agenda and that is how I will always choose to remember him.

Now.....thats one happy fella!

Dear Dad,
I will miss you immensely. I will miss you telling me how happy you were of all of the things that I have done.
Marlene and I talked to Dad a lot in the past few years as we traveled through all of the states. He was always excited to find out where we were going next. He cherished our daughter, Tristen, and always said "Give her a kiss from me." She looks at his picture and calls him Papa.
I have great memories of my Dad that will stay with me forever. Dad, we love you and we miss you.

Its hard to see someone you barey know die, but you used to know them. They used to be your best friend.

They used to take you out to Denny's so much you knew the waitress by name, and when they moved out of your house you were sad because you knew you wouldn't see them as much as you used to.

You knew that day was coming when the last time you saw them, they dropped 40 pounds and couldn't even hold a normal conversation with you. You still knew they loved you becuase they told you that they knew you were going to become a beautiful women.

Pops//Grandpa,

The last time you saw me you probably dont even remember, but thats okay, I am not mad not even at little.

I just wanted to say good bye, but I will never see you again, and it kills me every second.

I love you and miss you so much.
I know you are in a better place.

I'll remember you as my papa who had the most fun anyone could have with life. You had so much love in your heart for everyone, especially you're family and you were constantly making us laugh. You were the best grandpa to me, brianna, and brody and my childhood would not have been the same without you. It's going to be hard without being able to see you whenever i want anymore, but we will all get through it. i love you papa. You always knew how to live life to its fullest.

October 8, 2007

Dear Dad,

I have so many wonderful memories of you being my DAD! No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. We will miss you at family gatherings and most of all the several calls we would get a week from you just to check in on us.

Dad was a good person, he truly loved life, having fun with his friends and most of all his family. All of us will miss you and what you brought to this world. There were good times and bad times growing up. I can say all the good times out weigh the bad by far.

Dad you will live forever in our hearts. I am going to miss you and hope that you are at peace and in a better place.

Love,
Tony & Carey North
