Hello Bonnie,
Dick Miller called me about Bob's passing and I wanted to let you know what a great colleague and fellow coach he was when we were at Homestead. I remember our mutual interest in math and science teaching and our post-football game parties.
I was a faculty member at Harvard and the University of Minnesota before retiring in Florida in 2012. Unfortunately, we are unable to attend the service. However, I told Dick to greet our Homestead friends, especially you.
Let the fond memories you have of Bob provide welcome relief for the sorrow you and your family are feeling.

Joy,
I am so sorry for your loss. I hope that you and your family can quickly find peace and recall all of the good times you had with your Dad.

My first contact with Bob was as my instructor at Cardinal Stritch at the early stages of educational computing (vs computer education). At a time where many adults had a fear of computers Bob, with his patience and calm demeanor, ever encouraging, was the perfect person to be a leader in this area. The "godfather" of educational computing, he was a great mentor and teacher, and an even better person. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. Larry Acker (retired Greendale teacher)

We remember visiting Joy at your house when we were in college and always feeling at home. Bob will be missed as he was a blessing to all of us. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My husband, David Mace, was part of the group along with Bob who developed the first computer science programs in the state. Bob was a great asset to the math community. I know that Bob will missed by all.
