Robert Squires Obituary

Squires, Robert A. Jr. Passed away unexpectedly on a golf course in Myrtle Beach on May 5, 2014, at the age of 43. Cherished husband of Karen for 14 years. Devoted son of Robert and Sue Squires of Coralville, IA. Dear brother of Elizabeth (Scott) Bender and Ryan Squires of Iowa City, IA. Step dad of Marc (Stephanie) Post and Melanie (Nathan) Stuebs. Proud poppa of Cody, Izabel, Lauren, Elizabeth, Joshua and Juliette. Dear uncle of Joel, Lilly, Emily and Michael. Rob will also be missed by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, an aunt and uncle, many relatives and friends. Visitation Friday 4-8 PM at the Max A. Sass & Sons Mission Hills Chapel. Family and friends will meet Saturday at 10 AM, at St. Mary's Catholic Faith Community (9520 W. Forest Home Avenue, Hales Corners) for a Mass of Christian Burial. Rob earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and was also a graduate of Brookfield Central High School. He was a commercial banker most recently with North Shore Bank, a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, the Knights of Columbus Council #4648 and a board member of the Milwaukee Chamber Theater. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Milwaukee Chamber Theater appreciated.

I just heard about Rob's passing, what a shock. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family... I went to High School with Rob and a year at UW Whitewater and that is probably the last I saw him. He will be missed

Rob hired me at home depot 13 years ago... I saw him a few weeks ago at the store and he still remembered me... What a shock to hear of his passing.. Karen you are in our prayers..How life changes in a blink of an eye...

Karen: I was shocked and saddened to hear of Rob's passing. I was fortunate to work with Rob at LaSalle and remember his great sense of humor and his willingness to always help out.
