Every time I drive through Independence, WI, I think of my dear cousin, Butch. In our family, his nickname was "Butch" and, to this day, I refer to him as Butch. Lots of wonderful memories when we use to get together for family gatherings when we were kids May his soul rest in peace.

I can't believe it's been this long since my cousin's accident and death. Butch, as we called him, will always be a fond memory to me, my sister, and my brother. One of those memories is sledding down the hill at Carroll College in Waukesha. Oh, so much fun!

Bob and I worked together for several years during and after high school at Bill Douglas's gas station in Waukesha. Always a great friend, we kept in touch through the years. May you rest in peace, Bob.

To John, Monica, Tom & Amy, I hadn't seen your dad in over 6 years, but I have very fond memories of him and of all of you. He was a loving, generous and good man and I know you will miss him very much. Best Regards, Ruth Miller Clayton

"Butch" was my cousin, and even though we did not see one another through the years unless it was for a wedding (mine), funerals (too many to mention), and family reunions, he was always the jovial and story-telling person who everyone enjoyed! We did get a chance to meet up though at a bar in Independence, WI. He was so surprised when I snunk up behind him saying he was full of baloney while telling one of his stories to the guys standing around. He turned around and looked at who this could be saying he was full of baloney and realized it was me, his cousin who he hadn't seen in years. Yep, astonishment, bewilderment, and amazement showed up on his face. Then he laughed and hugged me to pieces! I will always remember that hug and love Butch gave me that evening. I love you dear cousin, and may God bless you through His mercy.
