Robert William Wutke

Wutke, Robert William "Bob" "Stringbean" Bob entered into the presence of his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on July 25, 2007, at the age of 82. Dearly beloved husband of Elaine (Geigler) (nee Truebenbach). Preceded in death by his first wife Marion (nee Uber), parents Mata (nee Kaul) and Eugene Wutke and brother Eugene (Betty). Loving father of Kathryn (Lawrence) Smith, Melanie (the late James) Landgraf, John (Diana) and Dave (Karen). Proud grandfather of Zachary, Jeremy and Alexander Smith; Shaina and Sarah Landgraf; Megan, Janna and Amy Wutke and Jacob, Mitchell, Chase and Joshua Wutke. Fond brother of William (Pat). Further survived by 5 stepchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, 1 step-great - grandson and their spouses. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Bob served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He worked as a contract administrator/engineer for the department of defense of the United States. He also served the American Bible Society for many years. In his retirement years he thoroughly enjoyed clowning and doing lapidary work. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2007, from 1:30 - 2:30 PM, at Elmbrook Church Chapel, 777 S. Barker Rd., Brookfield, WI, with Doug Shoen presiding. Memorial Service at 2:30 PM.
