Scherer, Roger B. Age 90, Black River Falls, WI, formerly of Milwaukee and Fort Atkinson, died on Veteran's Day, Wed., Nov. 11, 2009. WWII Army veteran. Awarded Bronze Star. Employed at Associated Grocers in New Berlin, WI. Married Jeanne H. Schoenberger June 15, 1946, in Juneau, WI. Survived by sons Richard A. (Denise) Scherer, Menomonee Falls, WI and Thomas E. (Ona Marie) Scherer, Wesley Chapel, FL, daughter Susan Elaine Clark, Tomah, WI, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Preceded in death by wife Jeanne, son James Roger Scherer, and brothers Norman, Raymond, Paul and Harvey. Funeral services with burial to follow on 12 noon Sat., Nov. 14, in Chapel of the Flowers, Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI. Visitation at Wisconsin Memorial Park 10:30 AM Saturday until services. Memorials to Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1360 Van Buren St., Black River Falls, WI 54615.
