TO MERRY, CALA, NIESHA, TIFF, R.J., AND MIKEY: I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE MET YOUR DAD/HUSBAND. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE LAST TIME THAT WE GOT TO HANG OUT WITH HIM AND ALL YOUR FAMILY AT NIESHA'S HOUSE FOR A BBQ. HE WAS SUCH A FUN MAN AND VERY INVITING OF ME INTO YOUR FAMILY, JUST AS YOU ALL HAVE BEEN. I COULD TELL HOW MUCH HE ENJOYED BEING AROUND ALL OF YOU AND THAT HE LOVED YOU ALL SO DEEPLY. Rufus Walton, one of the coolest dads around. Lol! I can remember when Tiffany and I were in high school and we got sent "home" one day for fighting (You and Merry's home was mine as well), as soon as I walked in the front door I heard, "TYSON!" So funny. To Merry, Mikey, Carla, Niesha, Tiffany, and R.J. I'm sending LOVE and ((HUGS)). You guys are a close family so I have no doubt you'll uplift one another in this trying time.

I am missing you more and more Dad. If I could only hear your voice or see that smile just one more time. I know you are in a better place but it is still hard not to want you here. I thought we had so much more time together and that is what is making this so much harder. I love you and am so happy to know how many people loved you and miss you just as much as I do. To the Walton family, Rufus and the Harris family grew up together in the Hillside projects, we had many good times together. Even after we became young adults we still stayed friends, everyone hung out at the Hank's Fun House back in the day. Rufus will be truly missed. To the children he was a good man. I would like to tell My Bestfriend Carla and her Family I am so sorry for the lost of there father.Always remember the good times y'all had with ur father he was a very very nice man to everyone.I been knowing him for 20yrs or more in I can't say one thing I didn't like about Rufus. Everytime I saw him he always had a smile and thats how im going to remember him with that smile :)so y'all try to hang in there I know its hard but always remember that God is right there with y'all.Merry you know I always look up to you like a mother so stay strong to.
