Ruth Orenstein Obituary

(Nee Friedman) of Glendale. Passed away Aug. 17, 2005 at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife, for 65 years, of the late William H. Cherished mother of Marlene (Bert) Bilsky and Dr. Allan (Janie) Orenstein. Dear grandmother of Adam (Karee) and Daniel Bilsky, David and Todd Orenstein. Loving great-grandmother of Shana Miriam Bilsky. Dear sister of the late Harry (Minnie), the late Abe, and the late Hyman (the late Esther) Friedman. Fond sister-in-law of the late Rose (the late Joseph) Sadowsky and the late Dorothy (the late Willard) Pollack. Loving aunt of Gerald (Sharee) Friedman, Mimi (Robert) Habush, Sheila (Herbert) Lucks, Judith (Gerald) Salinsky, JeriAnn (Irwin) David, Susan (Ned) Levinson and Earl (Marcia) Sadowsky. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.

Graveside service Sunday, Aug. 21 at 11AM at Spring Hill Cemetery, 166 S. Hawley Ct., Milwaukee.

Memorial contributions to the William and Ruth Orenstein Scholarship Fund in care of The Jewish Community Foundation, 1360 N. Prospect Ave., Milwaukee, WI 53202, would be greatly appreciated.

The family wishes to express a very special thanks to Ruth's caregivers, Bertha Thompson, Mary DePasse and Helene Shelton for their loving and compassionate care.
