Miss Prentice was my teacher in 1960. My sisters and I all have good memories of those kindergarten days with Miss Prentice at 67th Street School!

My condolences to the family of Ruth Prentice.

I had the good fortune of teaching music for five years at Victory School and have wonderful memories of good times together as a faculty. Ruth had a wry sense of humor and a dedication to her little ones! May she rest in peace!

I enjoyed working with Ruth in her kindergarten for two years as a teaching assistant (paraprofessional aide). She had a phenomenal knack for understanding the children in her classes. She was a very giving person who sent back from a trip to Ireland enough lovely wool for me to knit a "fisherman's" sweater. She also rescued my then three-year-old daughter in day care when we had a May 8th wet, heavy, snow storm. When I couldn't get my car away from where I had parked near school, she delivered us safely close to home. She also exhibited a keen sense of humor and was a true friend.

Miss Prentice was my kindergarten teacher in 1959! I remember that she was a kind and caring teacher. May she rest in peace.
