I was saddened to hear of Sandy's passing. I worked with her years ago and found her to be a very innovative, dedicated and fun person to work with. We pushed the boundaries at times, but it was always a hoot. Without a doubt, a kind, generous, playful lady... always happy, always smiling, and will always be remembered. Rest in peace Sandy.

I met Sandy when I first started working at Zablocki School thirty some years ago. She was genuine and dynamic. She enjoyed working with the sudents and was very dedicated and caring. I was fortunate to have gotten to know her and will always remember her and miss her dearly. RIP Sandy. God called back another one of his angels.

Sandy was my mother`s first cousin. Her mother Dorothy and my grandfather Calvin were siblings. A memory: 40 years ago, when I was starting my first job in Milwaukee, for a couple of weeks I lived with Sandy, her mom Dorothy, father Walter, and brother Stuart. I remember every morning Sandy would have a beautiful place setting at the kitchen table for my breakfast. That act of kindness meant so much to me. I was young and just getting started in the world. Having a sense of support by Sandy and her family gave me much comfort. At that time I remember Sandy being actively involved with friends and her job. I also remember she loved animals, especially raccoons! I can only imagine that during her life she showed much kindness to many people. God bless.

Sandy and her brother and Mother (Aunt Dorothy) and father, Walter were legends to us growing up. We were not in regular contact following the death of her family members. I held hope that we would see each other once again. It would be great to see some of the family photos.
