I am so sorry for John and family. I remember Sharon when she first started at Dist. Six. I have many, many happy memories of spending time with Sharon and John. Two people who were meant to be together. A lovely light is missing from the world, but burns forever bright in heaven. My deepest, deepest sympathy.

I remember how so very nice Det. Sharon Hess was when I first started at MPD @ the PAB 13 years ago. She would come down to the retrieve reports and had such a cheery disposition every time. My sympathies to Det. John Hess and his family at this time. Ingrid Cuevas-MPD

Farewell my friend you're leaving
It's time for you to go
Your friendship was a blessing
And I will miss you so
We shared so many secrets
You brightened up my days
You brought me so much happiness
With your kind and loving ways
You lifted up my spirits
When I was feeling blue
No matter what was happening
You knew just what to do
God is here to take you home
Now you and I must part
I love you and forever
You will live within my heart.

Always,

Chris Karwacki

Dear John,

I am so very sorry to hear of Sharon's passing. I missed her ever since I left the PAB and just recently learned that she was ill. I will always remember a few years ago, the 90 y/o victim who could not remember her name - so he described her to me. He said she was very kind and something about her blond hair and her smile - then said she looked like a "movie star." She got a great laugh out of that one. She was so kind and generous - she will always be a star in my book! May God be with you and the rest of her family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

With deepest sympathy,

Dear John and Family, Greg and I send our deepest sympathy on the loss of your beautiful wife. It is obvious how much you love her and how hard she tried to overcome the illness that took over her body. Sharon always had a smile and was still putting everything into her work just a few short weeks ago. We will all miss her greatly. Janet Protasiewicz and Greg Sell
