Dear family -
I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Cousin Shirley. My most profound sympathies for your loss. We will all miss her; indeed, for some time how she has been at the forefront of efforts to keep the VERY far-flung Schilansky and Rubenstein clans intact. I wish I could be there for the funeral. Please be assured that she, and all of you, will be in my thoughts.

Dear Liz, Larry and Randy:
May your mother's name be for a blessing. I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mother was a kind and always very gracious neighbor. She was like another mother to my sister, Sara, and for that Shirley will always hold a special place in my heart as well.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Aunt Shirley. I have fond memories of going to see her and Uncle Jack when I lived in Milwaukee. She was a great woman who I will miss very much. I am also sorry I will not make it to the service. The entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
