I have fond memories of working with the "Yooper" at Ladish Co. Like the time the CEO of Ladish stopped by as Stevie was installing a new multimillion dollar furnace. The CEO asked how the job was proceeding. Stevie replied that it would be done tomorrow. The CEO was excited to hear the new furnace would be ready to use weeks ahead of schedule. Then Stevie told the story of the bar up north that had the sign in the window that read "Free BEER Tomorrow". Stevie cracked a smile as the CEO realized he had been taken for a ride.
