Ghanayem, Suha M. "Susu" She was surrounded by her loving family as she ascended into Eternal Life with dignity and elegance on Saturday, January 7, 2012. Age 57. Beloved wife of Munir for 38 years. Mother of Musa and Muhannad. Beloved daughter of the late Fuad and the late Jamileh (nee Fawal) Khoury. Loving sister of Ghada (the late Basem) Iqal and Aziz (Rosette) Khoury. Loving aunt of Maysoun Iqal, Colette, Fuad II and Dunya Khoury. Further survived by Brother-in-law Maher (Mimi) Ghanayem, Sisters-in-law Muna (Raji) Ghanayem and Majeda (Bader) Ghanayem. Nieces and nephews Fadi, Jennifer, Mark, Majd and Maram. Loved by so many and loved so many, the list would be endless. Visitation at St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, N65 W6503 Cleveland St., Cedarburg. Monday, January 9, 4 PM - 8 PM. Trisagion Prayers at 7 PM. Funeral Service at the church, Tuesday January 10, at 11 AM. Burial at Arlington Park Cemetery. "Suha was a saint in every meaning of the word and we pray our Lord sees it that way." I worked with Suha for many years at Blue Cross. I told her once that the first time I saw her I thought she was the most beautiful woman I had ever met. What I haden't realized at that first glance, was that she was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. My sympathy to her loving family. Suha, I never met you in person, but it seems like I have known you for many years. I met you virtually here at Anthem about a year and a half ago working peer to peers together. Suha was such a wonderful, gracious person who loved life and her job and it showed everyday, even when she wasn't feeling her best. You will be missed. I've known Suha for a very long time, since 1982 to be exact, she was beautiful inside and out. I was always amazed at her composure and the way she reacted to things . I don't believe in all those years she has ever had anything bad to say about anyone, She was as they put it a saint in the nicest meaning of the word. I can't even write about her without crying, I can only imagine how her family feels, but if they read these condolences they will see just how much their mother, wife , sister , aunt , was loved. Rest in peace my friend, God willing we will meet again and my tears and sadness will turn into joy. Love you Susu

I worked with Suha at Anthem (as a medical director) and she was a great help to all the physicians she worked with. Always available to help, always cheerful and friendly. Suha was always upbeat even during the early part of her illness when the diagnosis was unknown. It was a pleasure working with such a gracious, delightful and positive person. She was a great assest to Anthem and to all the people she worked with. Her culture showed in her attitude and generousity. We all are better people for knowing this most wonderful woman.
