Sue. Month's back, I heard your mention of her recent passing on your afternoon show. I kept reminding myself to search for her obituary, which I finally did tonight. It is important for me to not only extend my condolences, but also to tell you that I have always enjoyed listening to your show because you are genuine and real. You are able to connect with people because you humanize all your subject matter. You listen to callers, and clearly callers listen you. I too have a family member undergoing cancer treatments which now seem like a regular routine. Continue on in strength and faith that should guide us all our days. Jeff, it is with deep sadness to learn of the death of your much-loved wife. You don't know me, as I am more a silent listener to your weekday talk show.
Cancer is an ugly disease. As a nurse, I have been part of treatment programs as well as Hospice care. Each patient and their loved ones becomes part of our family through the process of treatment and later, death with dignity. Each death is as if it was our own family.
Please accept sincere condolences and prayer for strength as you begin a future without Susan.

Jeff. My deepest sympathy to you. I was fortunate to have Sue as our employment attorney for 26 years at Kalmbach. Much more than that... she was a wonderful person to know. That and all the other attributes as written. She was a brilliant attorney with a great sense of humor. I will always remember her "smiling" lovely voice and her ending our conversations with that sweet "Bu bye" in her own familiar style.
