Sylvia Rodriguez Obituary

Rodriguez, Sylvia A. Was taken too soon when she passed away on January 15, 2015 at age 60. Loving mother to Monica and Andrea (Dave). Grandma Gummy Bear to Kaiser and Luna. Dear sister to Eloy, Ada (Mike) and Raul Jr. (Marisela). She was also a cherished friend, aunt, cousin, niece, godmother and step-daughter to many in WI, TX and CA. Preceded in death by her mother Aurora, sister Elva, and father Rafael. Heartfelt thanks to the staff and students from MATC who were with her during this time and those who worked tirelessly to help her come home to us. Please join her family on February 5th as we gather to celebrate her life at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 5400 W Washington Blvd, Milwaukee. Visitation is 10 AM followed by Mass at 11:00. A luncheon will follow at noon, at Jacobus Park Pavilion, 6501 Hillside Lane, Milwaukee. We miss you Mom.

My Condolences to the family. I will miss my friend and cherish her memories in my heart forever. Often we do not meet many people that will have an impact on our lives that can be cherished and admired for a lifetime. My friend did that for me. I pray for the family's peace and healing during this difficult time.

I will always remember how Sylvia was always involved at Urban Day School. Attending parent committee meetings, working at bingo, selling oranges and grapefruits so the kids could go to camp and helping out at camp. We were all a family at Urban Day. I will always remember how we worked together on everything.
I love you all.

To my dear aunt sylvia,
Old friends pass away, new friends appear. It is just like the days. An old day passes, a new day arrives. The important thing is to make it meaningful: a meaningful friend - or a meaningful day
Love Lorena
You will always remembered in our hearts??
