Thomas Wittliff Obituary

Rev. Thomas F. Wittliff "FT"

Milwaukee - "Bishop of Bay View" lost the battle with his illnesses and finally met his Boss one year ago on March 12, 2020 at the age of 82.

A concelebrated Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Father Wittliff will be celebrated at 10:00am on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at the BASILICA OF SAINT JOSAPHAT, Milwaukee (2333 South 6th Street). Archbishop Jerome E. Listecki, Presider. Eulogies will start at 9:50am. Please enter using the Pope John Paul II Pavilion on the west side of the Basilica.

Attendance is limited to 250 people and masks are mandatory. Please be respectful of the Basilica's COVID-19 related policies. A gathering of memories and reminiscing will happen at a later date.

The Mass will be livestreamed on March 27th. Please visit https://www.hdezwebcast.com/show/father-wittliff-memorial-mass to watch the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Father Thomas Wittliff Scholarship Fund @ St. Thomas More High School appreciated.

Roger Kison Family

The Kison family has many favorite memories with Father Tom. One of our favorite memories was when the whole Roger Kison family attended mass in FT´s chapel in his basement and sharing a meal with him afterwards.
