Virginia Scherper Obituary

Scherper, Virginia M. (Nee De Simons) Entered Eternal Life on July 13, 2013, at the age of 83. Longtime resident of Mequon. Beloved wife of the late Donald Scherper. Loving mother of Debbie Scherper, Jon (Jane) Scherper, Kathy (Jeff) Curtis, and Ellen (Eric) Hagglund, and of the late Karen Grenke and Paul Scherper. Proud grandmother of Beth Grenke, Matt Scherper, Kevin Grenke, Codi Kalmon, Travis Curtis, Eric Scherper, Ashley Hagglund, Abby Curtis, Sara Scherper and Grace Curtis. Dear sister of the late Harold De Simons, Lorainne Grim, and Norman De Simons. Further survived by other relatives and good friends. Virginia was a graduate of Wauwatosa High School. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Virginia will be deeply missed by her family and all whose lives she touched. Family will greet friends on Tuesday, July 23, from 3:00 to 4:00 PM at the Feerick Funeral Home followed by a service honoring Virginia's life at 4:00 PM. Interment at Woods National Cemetery will be private for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Virginia's name may be made to Zilber Family Hospice, 1155 N. Honey Creek Pkwy., Wauwatosa, WI 53213.
