Walter E. "Wally" Gross

Gross, Walter E. "Wally" Was called to his eternal heavenly home on July 23, 2013, at age 88. Loving husband of 64 years to Janet. Proud father to children Sally Maki, Robert Gross, Cindy (Rev. Mark) Cordes and Walter (Beth) Gross. Loved by 13 wonderful grandchildren and 4 great- grandchildren. Survived by beloved sisters Ruth Knackert and Jeanette Frank. Funeral Service will be held Monday, July 29, at 11AM, at Pilgrim Ev. Lutheran Church, W156 N5336 Bette Dr., Menomonee Falls, followed by a luncheon. Visitation Monday 10AM until time of the Service AT THE CHURCH. Interment will be at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Walter proudly served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Bancroft during WWII, was a member of the Tin Can Sailors Org, and was privileged to be a part of one of the Honor Flights. He gave 40 years of dedicated service to the Square D Company. As an avid golfer Walter served as a volunteer for many local charity tournaments. In lieu of flowers, donations in Walter's name are welcomed to Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, WI or AngelsGrace Hospice, Oconomowoc, WI.
