Dear Crivello Family,
I am so very sad to learn of your loss. I knew your father years ago in the 1980's and he was then and probably up to the day he left this earth a real friend of veterans. He not only talked the talk the man walked the walk. He was a real friend. He had a smile for all and his heart was full of love for his family,his God and his Country. My husband and I enjoyed fish fries with he and Gerry. They are together now and he can be happy and at peace enjoying the rest he so richly deserves. Rest in peace sweet friend and God Bless you and the loved ones you leave behind.
Love you Friend!

To the family of Mr. Crivello;
I am an employee of the Milwaukee VA Medical Center and I am proud to say that Bill was a friend of mine. I would see him coming down the hall and smile and say "oh boy, here comes trouble" - he really got a kick out of that. He was alway pleasent, smiling and I enjoyed caring for his needs (I'm in Prosthetics) and I'm going to miss him. My daughter is also an employee there (Canteen Serivce) and she too enjoyed seeing Mr. Crivello and she too will miss him. When we think of him we will smile, because that's what he would want. Love you "trouble" we are going to miss you
Love;

For the many years i've known Bill thru our mutual association in the DAV, his ultimate goal was to take care of any vet or their family member who came into his daily routine...he did what it took to make it work for them, and we will always remember him or his outstanding efforts and volunteerism...RIP, Bill.

Bill and I spent many hours talking and playing cribbage while I was a social work intern at the VA during the Fall 2009 & Spring 2010 semesters. We shared a stuffed animal skunk. The person who won the last game of cribbage (or who had skunked the other) had the opportunity to watch the loser roam around the halls of the VA's 9th floor with the skunk. I lost the last cribbage game we played and had to do the "skunk walk" down the halls; nonetheless, Bill graciously offered to continued to let the skunk ride around on the back of his wheelchair.
Thanks for the serenades and the laughter, Bill. Goodbye "skunko", I will forever cherish our time together. God bless you my friend and I'll meet you in heaven. With love...

Here is Bill with some of his friends and his nephew playing.
