Dear Kahlil, Lily, Ursala... I learned of Clarissa's crossing over at Indian Market here in Santa Fe yesterday. My heart reeled and I sobbed in the street. She was a stunningly vibrant woman who met life with fierce creativity and the constant quest for authenticity. I loved her the moment I met her so long ago and was honored to attend her as she brought Ursala into the world. I had wondered why I hadn't heard from her and had looked forward to seeing her again now that I was back in New Mexico. I send you all my deepest and heartfelt honoring of her and of all that in her that lives on in each of you and your children. I am reminded of a prayer we read at my father's funeral that ends with, "When all that's left of me is love, give me away." May the flowers of her love, bloom in your hearts forever.

My condolences for your loss. It's time's like these when the loving promises of our Heavenly Father can bring us comfort and can soften some of the pain we feel in our hearts. May God grant you guidance, strength and peace during your time of sorrow. 1Thessalonians 4:13.14

May the God of all comfort strengthen the family during this time of deep sorrow. Those who pass on, God keeps in his memory because they are precious in his eyes. My sincerest condolences. (Psalms 116:15)
