I always looked forward to Terry coming out of the Stehekin back country. We talked a lot when he did. He was a unique individual who was concerned, caring, very intelligent, very polite, and also a good friend. Everyone liked Terry. I know he will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Terry was a wonderful friend. I had the honor of working with Terry in the 1970's at Stehekin in the North Cascades National Park. He was one of the best Rangers I ever had the honor of working with. A very hard worker and a crazy hiken dude. He knew every bump and turn in those trails. Terry would come to visit us every so often on one of his trips and we were always so glad to see him. He will be very much missed by me.

Terry was the most awesome worldly Uncle a girl could ask for! So intelligent yet SO down to earth. He was always so thoughtful, I will always remember how important it made me feel when at around age 9, he let me help repack his parachute. Always teaching, always kind. He will be GREATLY missed and thought of often!

I met Terry at a party in Juneau in the mid 80s. Turns out, we had known each other in Oregon, where we skydived together.
Terry visited us during his long ride. Thankfully, he kept the shiny side up.
Feet and knees together, buddy.
