Church Point, LA: A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, LA for Jody Flynn Aguillard, 55. Mr. Aguillard, a long-time resident of Church Point, died Saturday morning, August 23 at Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center in Lafayette, LA. Pastor Ervin Goodman of Lake Cove Baptist Church will conduct the Services; Interment will follow at a later date. Survivors include his wife, Stephanie Boudreaux Aguillard of Church Point; a daughter, Destiny Stelly of Church Point; his sons, Slade Stelly of Church Point and Dylan Stelly and fiancé Ally Venable of Youngsville, LA; a sister, Michelle Aguillard of Henderson, LA; a brother, Randy Aguillard and fiancé Jackie of Eunice, LA; a Godchild, Kaydence Crawford; numerous nieces and nephews and his pets: "Bosco", "Bella", "Izzy" and "Mercy". He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Theresa Guidry Aguillard. Visitation will be held at Guidry Funeral Home from 2:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Tuesday, August 26 and continue from 8:00 AM until the time of the Service on Wednesday. A Sandblaster Painter in the offshore industry for a number of years; Mr. Aguillard was a loving husband and father. A devout, courageous and inspiring person; Mr. Aguillard enjoyed gardening, cooking, LSU Football and vacations with family in Galveston, TX.
