Anthony Straneva Obituary
Anthony J. Straneva, 64 of Dahoga RD, Wilcox, PA. passed away on Monday, January, 20th, 2025, at his residence.
He was born March 13, 1960 to the late Paul and Shirley (Peterson) Straneva
Tony worked for Keystone Chipping and was currently employed at Kane Hardwood.
He was a life member of the Ludlow Sportsman's Club. The Wilcox Sportsman's club and The American Legion Post #467. Tony was also a member of the Wilcox Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed time at The Camp in Wetmore, Steelhead fishing in Erie and enjoyed taking his nephews to dirt track races in Lamont.
He is survived by two brothers, Alan Straneva of Wilcox and Frank Straneva and his wife Mary (his favorite sister-in-law) of Tell City, IN; a Sister Marie (Rod) Luches of Ridgway; seven Nephews and their spouses; a very special Aunt Betty Straneva of Wetmore and cousins Laurie and Neal Cole and Joe and Zack Straneva.
In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by two brother Ed and Don. And his favorite furry friend Ginger.
A Celebration of life will take place Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Graybill Marine, 11114 Route 321, Kane , PA at 1:00 pm. All friends and family are invited to attended.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wilcox VFD, 84 Lawarence St. Wilcox, PA 15870 or the Ludlow Sportsman's Club, P.O. Box 58, Ludlow, PA. 16333.
