Carol Stroup Obituary
Born January 4, 1937, in Rew, she was a daughter of Guy and Kittie Miles Raught. On October 4, 1952, in Port Allegany, she married Kenneth Stroup Sr. who preceded who preceded her in death.
Carol was employed as a nursing home attendant at Sena Kean Manor and a member of Kushequa Union Church.
She was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and was known for her strong spirit and the best ever coconut cream pies.
Surviving are two sons, Kenneth (Carolyn) Stroup Jr. of Mt. Jewett and Norman (Vicki) Stroup of AL; her sister Adda Swanson, six grandchildren (and their spouses); nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Carol was preceded in death by a daughter, Gayle L. Belden and nine brothers and sisters.
Family and friends may attend a graveside service at 11:00 am Wednesday, at Nebo Cemetery with Jack Forquer officiating.

Carol made good food and luscious coconut pies. She helped her friends. She loved her family
