Howard Kelley Obituary
He was born April 25, 1945 in Kane, the son of the late Earl and Louise (Carlson) Kelley and was married to Vicki L. Housler on Sept. 20, 1980 in Kane.
Mr. Kelley had been employed at Gaertner & Harf Meat Packing and Country Fair in Erie and prior to those he was employed at the meat market in Mt. Jewett, meat processing plant in Eldred and various other businesses. He was an avid Steelers and Pirates fan and truly enjoyed playing cards with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki; four sisters, Rita (Lou) Matter of Whittier, California, Polly (Robert "Goodie") Goodwin of Mumford, New York, Betty Lou Burns of Cullman, Alabama and June Napolitan of Warren; five brothers, Gene (Bobbie) Kelley of Riverside, California, Louie (Beverly) Kelley of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Allen (Debbie) Kelley of Indianapolis, Indiana, Larry Kelley of Naselle, Washington and Rick Kelley of Lake City; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patty Ross and Janet Rossborough; and three brothers, Jim, George and Roger Kelley.
A memorial service for Howard Kelley will be held Saturday, Oct. 21 at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church. Interment will be in Lebanon Lutheran Cemetery, Kane.
Friends may gather at the church on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.
Memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society at 2407 Zimmerly Rd., Erie, Pa. 16506 or the Mt. Jewett Memorial Library, 7 E. Main St., Mt Jewett, Pa. 16740.
