A & D I must say your absence is being felt tremendously. Everyone has changed....Your life was so precious and no one expected for you to go so soon.
I thank you for the wisdom and comfort you provided me during your stay with Devon. I thank you for showing my son so much love.
Before your death you spoke about your JOURNEY...You told me you were on your journey, you had seen it all, felt it all, and you were ready. Your spiritual man was ready to meet Allah and hear "Job well done, my good and faithful servant."
I know your spirit still resides and is so very present. I ask that you would send some wisdom down and look over lil brother. He loves you so very much and your presence is greatly missed. You made it, A & D. You made it....I will see you when I get there.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Dedicated To My Brother Adrain

When I come to the end of my journey
And I travel my last weary mile,
Just forget if you can that I ever frowned
And only remember the smile.
Forget unkind words I have spoken;
Remember some good I have done.
Forget that I ever had heartache
And remember I've had loads of fun.
Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
And sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some good
battles
And won, ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day.
But in summer just gather some flowers
And remember the place where I lay,
And come in the shade of the evening
When the sun paints the sky in the west.
Stand for a few minutes beside me
And only remember my best.

I love you,
Your Brother,

MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYER GO OUT TO THE FAMILY OF ADRIAN PONDS,GOD BLESS

Kevin Palmer

December 26, 2008

My heart and condolescene goes out to the family of AD, who was one to never know a stranger. Always had something to say to create a smile or a verbal gesture of " There go AD". But always of a kind spirit. The lost of a love one is never a easy task and finding the right thing to say is difficult too. But trust in the Lord for guidance and comfort during this diffcult time. Proverbs 3:5-6
God Bless and may he provide the comfort you need to get through this difficult season.

Time To Reflect
The day is like a Dogwood Tree
Tall and mighty narry a bee
Blowing in the Wind
A friend I need to find
Looking a tall dubious honor
Dagwood, Bumstead the others
Slack-Jawed and smart
Larger than a fork
In the Road
Magestic and Nobel while Reflecting

I love you Daddy (Quasha)

Sharice, Otis and Jimmy,

As you know A.D. was family- he was my brother, my cousin, and much more, my friend. He will truly be missed. What I will miss the most is the days that he, Derek, Jason, and Amiel would pretend that they were New Edition and sing Candy Girl with brushes and combs as mics. LOL. I can see all of them right now. I love him and I love you. May God give the entire family comfort at this time.

Malika

December 25, 2008

I always called Adrian by his middle name Malik, I've been knowing Malik all my life his aunt Jerry and my mother have been best friends for over 40 years, so we were more like family playing over pee wee's when we were younger. I was very angry and hurt to hear the terrible news about malik when his aunt jerry called my mom from Texas. I love you Malik and will miss you very much. "REST IN PEACE BABY"
