Wellington, Kansas - Alva Joseph "Alvie" Cook, age 81, farmer, passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021. Visitation, 9am-7pm, Wed, with family present, 5:30-7pm. Funeral 10am, Thurs, BOTH at Webb-Shinkle Mortuary Chapel, Clearwater. Preceded by parents, Alva and Jennie (Cox) Stuckey Cook; infant daughter, Janis Kay Cook; siblings, Edward C. "Eddie" Stuckey, Harold R. "Bill" Stuckey, Roy G. Stuckey, Virginia (George) Horn, Bertha (George) Whisenant, and Esther (Arnold) Blevins. Survivors: wife, Dorla; sons, Gary (Svetlana) Cook of Wichita, Stephen (Aimee) Cook of Elk Falls; sister, Alberta Jordan; grandchildren, Gary Cook, II, Rachel Cook, Joseph Cook, Deborah Cook, Matthew Cook, Aaron Cook, and Angela (Morgan) Cook Wakefield; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. www.wsmortuary.com
