Wichita, Kansas - Beau Daniel Franklin, 42, beloved son, passed away Wednesday, December 22, 2021. He was born October 27, 1979 in Wichita, KS.
Beau was known for his sense of humor and caring heart. He had a love of music, guitars, and golf. Beau was an excellent painter and a hell of a chef.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Geneva Franklin, Doyle and Norma Johnson, Armella and John Knoll; aunt, Margaret Ellis; uncle, Danny Franklin; aunt, Dani Johnson; and cousin, Eddie Smith. Beau is survived by his fiancé, Julie Powell; children, Shaylynn Franklin, Kadyn Franklin, and Allison Franklin; step-children, Johnathan, Zoë, Onyx, and Scott; father and best friend, Randall (Paula) Franklin; mother, Rhonda (Joseph) Alexander; siblings, Timothy (Shannon) Brown, Scott (Marsha) Brown, Samantha (Ismael) DeLeon; aunts, Patty Smith, Julie Johnson, and Connie Johnson; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation: Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 3 to 8 pm with family present between 5 & 7 pm. Celebration of Life: 1 pm, Thursday, December 30, 2021, all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd. Wichita, KS 67210.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), 424 E. 92nd St., New York, NY 10128-6804.
