Bob Moody Obituary

Moody, Bob, 88, Moody Investments Vice President passed away January 14, 2015. Bob was the former President of Hotel Broker Association, active in the Marine Corp. League and was heavily involved with Boy Scouts of America for many years. He was a Deacon at Metropolitan Baptist Church where he was very active. He was a pilot and loved flying planes. Bob was a South Seas Marine WWII veteran and built houses almost 10 years before going to work at Moody Investments. He went on the Honor Flight with his grandson Sterling. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria. He is survived by his sons, Mike (Sheryl), Pat (Donna), Chris, Mark (Jo); siblings, Helen Baunhofer, Jim Moody, John Moody; grandchildren, Jonathan, Grant, Evan, Megan, Camie, Cory, Hayley, Brandon, Whitney, Crystal, Sterling and 13 great grandchildren. Funeral service is 3:00 pm Saturday, January 17 at Metropolitan Baptist Church with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Memorials may be sent to Kansas Honor Flight.

I remember Bob as a great father and friend. He built our house. Remember breaking him building the barn and breaking the horse. Taking Mike and I flying. His wife Gloria was like a second mom. As Mike and the boys where always together growing up.
