Williams, Brenda Neal, 54, Loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt and former Wesley Hospital Newborn Intensive Care Unit respiratory therapist, passed on to glory on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003. Service 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2nd, Strangers Rest Baptist Church, 2521 N. Grove. Brenda is the wife of Eric Williams, USD 259 employee. Brenda possessed a spirit of love for humankind, especially children and babies. She gave freely of herself and her resources, as her health would permit. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, James (Pill) Barber. Brenda was a faithful member of Strangers Rest Missionary Baptist Church where until health restrictions was the director of the God's Little Angels Nursery. Survivors: husband, Eric of the home; mother, Doris Barber of Wellington; sisters, Melinda Yuengel, Theresa German both of Wichita; surrogate sister, Liesha Hughes of Wichita; brother, James Michael Barber (Phyllis) of Edmond, OK.; in-laws, mother-in-law, Bernice Williams (Lawrence), Randy Williams (Della), Rita Williams Hardin, Greg Williams (Brianne), a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Memorial established with HCA Wesley Medical Center Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 550 N. Hillside, Wichita, 67214 in care of Cindy Harmon, RN. Our loved one has been entrusted to Jackson Mortuary.
