I, like many others, was shocked to learn of Brian's passing. In my dismay, I didn't leave my condolences for his family, that's why I'm doing it now. I didn't know Brian as well as Joel but Brian was very kind to me. I've prayed for comfort for his family & may he be remembered with love & laughter...

Hadn't seen Brian in years, but he was a great guy and we shared alot of laughs working together at Q Corp in the years after we both graduated from DHS in 79. Shocked to learn of his passing and know he will be badly missed.

I'm just in shock to hear of Brian's passing. I was a good friend of Barb's prior to her meeting Brian. We worked together for several years and were very good friends. I was shocked when she told me she met this really nice guy one weekend and I found out I actually knew who he was. I didn't KNOW him but knew WHO he was from high school. They married 2 months prior to her being my matron-of-honor at my own wedding. My family moved away from KS but I would always stop in and visit with her when we came home to visit family. I feel like we JUST lost Barb and it's just not possible for Brian to be gone also. Christina, your parents loved you so very much and are so proud of you! They were both the best kind of people! All my thoughts and prayers to you and Brian's family

Very saddened to hear of Brian's passing. I always enjoyed working with him and admired his upbeat attitude even when the situation was less than pleasant. I will always be looking for him and thinking of him when I am in the halls of Cessna.
Thoughts and love to the family.

Words cannot express how heartbroken we are about Brian. He was more than a friend he was family.
We will never forget all the weekends our families spent at the cabin boating and fishing. All the tangled fishing line, the fishing pole that ended up in the water sometimes on accident, other times on purpose. The time Dalton (Age 2) threw his pole in the water and wanted Brian to get in the lake and get it back for him. Brain said to him what he so often said: Sorry, partner! Or the time he told Dakota not to get too close to the pond, and as usual, Dakota didn't listen and fell in. It was mid-February and the water was freezing, but Brian waded in after him, pulled him out, and never complained. Brian was a large part of our lives and will be missed greatly.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Christina, Lonnie, Joel and Tim.

Our parents met in England ...stationed there in the Air Force. We were born 3 months apart and our mothers were raising us kids together. They were lifelong friends and both ended up in Derby Kansas. We attended Derby High School together after all those years. Lonnie...you have suffered many losses and this may be the hardest. We love you and are praying for you every day. The loss of a child, no matter how old, is not right. I know Brian is at peace now with his beloved wife. It hurts SO much but I truly believe he is in a better place. ❤

Memories of Brian from long ago - we drank many beers and he treated us as equals even though he was older. One of many fond memories finds Brian starting up a Bobcat on Douglas and cruising around. Like Christ, I always felt like he would give his life for anyone. RIP Brian you were truly a role model for us.

I had the pleasure getting to know Brian when I worked with him at Pawnee. He was great at sharing his knowledge and offering anything he had to make my day go better...including his sarcasm. He was a complete blast to work with...always willing to start up a little horseplay. More recently he would call me on Sundays to help my wife and I through my cancer treatment, questions, and struggles. He was a great man and all of us who knew him are better people because of him. I know he was looking forward to taking that grand baby fishing. Call me when the time comes I will take her out be a little closer to grandpa. We are praying Brain and his family.

The news of Brian's passing was such a shock. Too young to leave this world. He was such a great guy. He would work hard six days a week and would come help you do anything on his only day off. He would smile, cutup with you and make any task enjoyable. He taught me so many things. I'll miss talking with him and solving all the worlds problems together. He was unique. His dry sense of humor and him being such a prankster will be missed. So many stories will forever be so many great memories. I hope there are a lot of ponds in heaven for him to keep fishing in. Our prayers go out to Christina, Lonnie, Joel, Tim, Lorna and the entire family.
