Susie, I don't think anybody knew about our "Girls Night" a couple Saturdays a month. I miss our conversations. I knew we were bonded for life when I figured out that hair of yours. Hahaha just laughing at our inside joke of being related. (I'm African American) I know how important I was to you, and you were such an amazing surrogate big sister. I miss you everyday. I hear your Brenda Vaccaro raspy laugh now! Love our memories.
Always

I had the privilege of taming Susies hair for the last several years. My heart aches for the times we won't have to laugh, but my heart also rejoices for all the wonderful memories I have of my dear friend. Susie you were my best girl, I'm going to miss your laugh and our girls night.
May you rest in peace my friend. With fabulous hair and no frizz. P.s. I know you wanted me to send you off with one final curl and spray, but Im there in spirit! And your probably coming to Vegas with me!!! I will keep my heart full of our memories. Xoxo

Have many fond memories of the Dugan family as my mom worked for Bernice caring for Susie and Butch as babies, and I worked for Bernice when I was in high school and later doing her hair. Susie had a beautiful smile and I will remember her fun loving ways! Our prayers are with you.
