Charles H. Kentzler

ATCHISON - Kentzler, Charles H., 76, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2004. Funeral mass was held at St. Benedict's Church, with interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Atchison. Mr. Kentzler was born March 23, 1927 in Atchison, KS the son of Sam and Palestine (Winzer) Kentzler. He was a member of St. Benedict's Church, Sacred Heart Council No. 723 of the Knights of Columbus; the Atchison County Co-op Association and Rural Water District No. 3, Atchison. He married Imogene Weber on June 1, 1954, at St. Patrick's Church by the Rev. Cyprian Nordhus. She survives of the home. Other survivors include: four sons and their families, David and Bev Kentzler and daughters, Stacy and Sara; Dan and Cheryl Kentzler and children, Christina and Matthew; Mike and Stacey Kentzler of Atchison; Mark and Mandy Kentzler and sons, Jordan and Jacob of Kingman; sister, Lola Mae Scherer, Lancaster, KS. He was preceded in death by sister, Ida Jane Vandeloo. Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home.
