January 5, 1943 - February 4, 2025
Wichita, Kansas - Connie Sue Morris passed away peacefully on February 4th, 2025. She is survived by her son, Scott DuVall (Jamie); daughters, Gretchen Black, Claire Morris, Katie Morris (David); granddaughters, Emma "Luna" Black, Abilu Long, and Bird Conrad. A Celebration of Life will be held at College Hill United Methodist Church on Monday February 10th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Kansas Food Bank.

Many years ago my sister and I were very close to Connie, her mother and grandmother. Many Saturday nights were spent with our mother and our grandmother playing cards. Once Connie, my sister, and I all got married, left town, Connie's mother's passing, contributed to our losing contact. I have always wondered what happened and I tried "googling" Connie to no avail but did not know that she apparently was re-married which is why I was unable to find her. How sad that it is obituaries that supply answers too late. When I read "Scott DuVall" I know that was her. My deepest sympathies to her entire family and I am so sorry that we never got to meet.
